Assam Direct Recruitment 2023 -12600 Grade III & Grade IV Posts

Assam Direct Recruitment 2023 of Govt. of Assam have released two employment notifications for the recruitment of 12600 Grade III & Grade IV Vacancies under different departments/establishments in the Government of Assam. These vacancies will be filled up by the recruitment rules framed by the newly constituted Assam Direct Recruitment Commission for Analogous Posts in Class III and Class IV Act 2021 and Assam Direct Recruitment for Class III and Class IV Analogous Posts Rules 2022. A single written exam along with a skill test or interview will be held for each category of posts, and a merit list will be prepared accordingly for appointment.

Assam Direct Recruitment 2023 Details

Educational Qualification of Assam Direct Recruitment 2023

The category-wise eligibility criteria have been mentioned below.

Grade-IV (Class-IV)

• Qualification No of posts Read up to Class VIII 1,950
• HSLC or Equivalent passed 1,060
• HSLC with ITI 1,990
• Total posts 5,000

Maximum Qualification: The maximum allowed educational qualification for Class-IV posts is HSSLC or class 12th or an equivalent examination passed. Candidates having a qualification higher than the maximum qualification on the date of application are not eligible to apply for these vacancies.

Grade III (Category I)

• Educational Qualification: Post-wise qualification is as under.
• Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s Degree. (As applicable)
• Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree with a Computer Certificate/Diploma of a minimum of 6(six) months duration from a recognized Institute. (As applicable)
• Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/Diploma of a minimum 6(six) months duration and a Stenography Certificate from a recognized Institute. (As applicable)
• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6(six) months duration from a recognized Institute. (As applicable)

Grade 3 (Category II)

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examinations. (Some specific posts need candidates to be class 12th passed from a science stream.)

Grade III (Category III)

• Name of post: Driver
• No of posts: 418 posts
• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSLC or an equivalent examination with a valid LMV Driving Licence.

Other Criteria of Assam Direct Recruitment 2023

• Age Limit: The Candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as of 1st January 2023.
• Age Relaxation: The category-wise upper age relaxation is as mentioned below.
• OBC/MOBC 3 years
• SC/ST 5 years
• Ex-Servicemen 2 years
• PwBD 10 years
• Citizenship: Candidates must be a citizen of India.
• Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must have registered their name in any one of the employment exchanges of Assam.

Selection Process of Assam Direct Recruitment

The detailed selection process of ADRE 2023 has not been released. As per the official notification, the scheme of examination will be published at least one week before the conduct of the written test. Hence, candidates are requested to check the last year’s selection process to get a sample idea about the exam as described below.

Assam Direct Recruitment 2023 Commission will conduct separate competitive examinations for the selection of candidates for different categories of posts. Accordingly, the commission will select candidates for recommendation on merit, in order of higher Grade Pay taking into consideration reservations for SC, ST, OBC, and other categories.

The examinations shall be held separately on different dates so as to enable higher degree holders to appear in more than one examination.

Bachelor’s Degree Level

The commission will organize separate examination as per the following eligibility qualifications for the posts.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Skill.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.
• Bachelor’s Degree with Economics/ Statistics/ Mathematics.

Stage 1 (Written Exam)

Merit List

The preparation of the merit list for appointment against various categories of posts will be executed through the following stages.

• On the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination, a list of all candidates shall be prepared in order of merit.
• Additionally, minimum qualifying marks, of the marks obtained in the written examination, for General Candidates and Candidates belonging to the different reserved categories, shall be determined by the Commission to shortlist candidates, from the above list, to be called for Computer test/ other test/ practical test in a ratio to be decided by the Commission.
• The Commission shall determine minimum qualifying marks for Computer test/ other test/ practical test.
• Candidates securing less than the qualifying marks in the Computer test/ other test/ practical test shall not be eligible for selection.

The final merit list for Class III and IV posts shall be based on the total marks obtained in the written examination and Computer Test or Other Test or Interview.
