On February 23, 2023,
Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) announced vacancies for the post of UAV Pilot on a contractual basis. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the position.
The organization is seeking two candidates for the position of UAV Pilot.
The essential qualification for the post includes a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTECH) in any branch of engineering, preferably Civil, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, or Aeronautical.
Candidates must have a Remote Pilot Certificate for small UAVs from a DGCA approved Remote Pilot Training organization (RTPO) and should have a good understanding of English and Avionics (read/write/comprehension) to follow manuals/training content.
Additionally, applicants must have a minimum of one year of drone flying experience.
The selected candidates will receive a salary of Rs. 35,000 per month. The age limit for the post is between 21 and 43 years as of January 1, 2023.
