Scale of Pay: PGCIL offers an attractive pay package that is among the best in the industry. Selected candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 27,500/- per month during the one-year training period. After successfully completing the training, candidates will be absorbed as Junior Engineer Gr-IV (S1) in the Supervisory category with a pay scale of Rs. 25,000 –3% – 1,17,500 (IDA).

Eligibility Criteria for PGCIL Diploma Trainee Recruitment

  • Age Limit: The upper age limit for candidates is 27 years as of 23.09.2023.
  • Age Relaxation: Age relaxation is provided as follows:
    • OBC/ NCL: 3 years
    • SC/ ST: 5 years
    • PwBD: 10 years in addition to category relaxation
  • Essential Qualification: Candidates must possess a Full-Time Regular Three Years Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognized Technical Board/Institute.
  • Percentage of Marks: A minimum of 70% marks is required.

Note: Higher technical qualifications such as B.Tech. / BE / M.Tech. / ME, etc., with or without a Diploma, are not permitted. Qualifications obtained through distance education will not be considered.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 300/- where applicable.
