Assam HS Admission 2023 for Higher Secondary 1st-year classes will be completed through “Darpan,” the common portal for online HS admission. The principals of colleges, HS schools, and senior secondary schools who wish to avail of this facility can register online.

To participate in the process, institutions with valid AHSEC codes must create their profiles by providing their institution details on the portal at www.darpan.ahseconline.in or www.ahsec.assam.gov.in.

How to Apply for Assam HS 1st Year Admission?

Students who wish to get admission into the Higher Secondary 1st-year courses in different institutions, including universities, degree colleges, senior secondary schools, and higher secondary schools under AHSEC, must apply online. They can follow the steps below to submit their applications online:

1. Scroll down and check the Important Web Link’s section.
2. Click on the HS 1st Year Online Admission link.
3. The portal will load, click on the “Register a new Account” link.
4. Enter your personal and educational details as required by the portal.
5. Upload a scanned copy of a passport-sized photograph and the 10th mark sheet.

Assam Direct Recruitment Result 2023: Check Your Grade III and IV Results

Assam Direct Recruitment Commission has completed all stages of recruitment for Class III and Class IV posts. The written exams were held in August and September 2022, and interviews and skill tests were conducted from December 2022 to February 2023. A total of 25,807 vacancies will be filled under various government departments through this recruitment process.

Result Declaration Dates:

Candidates who applied online and appeared for the written test, interview, and skill test can check their final results on 3rd and 4th May 2023. The Assam Direct Recruitment Commission will declare the results of 3rd and 4th Grade posts on May 3rd and 4th 2023 respectively.

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has recently announced the official notification for the Combined Competitive (Prelim) Examination, 2022. This exam will be held on 26th March, 2023 at 31 District Headquarters, and APSC will release the APSC CCE Admit Card or Hall Ticket on their official website www.apsc.nic.in.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam Paramedical Admission

To be eligible for getting admission into various paramedical courses under Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria.

 

Citizenship: Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Resident-ship: Candidate should be a Permanent Resident of Assam and must furnish a Certificate to this effect. The provision of Permanent Resident Certificate shall not be applicable to the Sons/ Daughters of the employees of the Government of Assam.

Age Limit: Student have to be in the age limit of 17 to 24 years as on 31st December of 2022.

Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC/ MOBC, SC, ST (P) and ST (H) candidates. Age relaxation is applicable for the DIBYANG candidates as per the extant norms of Government of Assam.

Educational Qualification: The minimum qualification for selection of the candidates is HSSLC (Science) (10+2) (in the year 2022 or earlier) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with a minimum of 45% marks in case of General Candidates and 40% for OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P) and ST(H) candidates.
