Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of 1st June 2023. Age relaxation is provided for certain categories:
– SC/ST: 5 years
– OBC: 3 years
– PwBD: 10 years for Gen/EWSs, 15 years for SC/ST/PwBD, and 13 years for OBC PwBD.
Educational Qualification:
1. Junior Engineer (Civil): Candidates should have a minimum of three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board with at least 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
2. Junior Engineer (Electrical): Candidates should have a minimum of three years Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board with at least 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR a Degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Experience:
1. Junior Engineer (Civil): Diploma holders should have a minimum of 2 years of experience, while Degree holders should have at least 1 year of experience in the execution and supervision of civil construction work and/or civil maintenance of office buildings, commercial buildings, residential complexes, etc. They should also possess basic knowledge of RCC design, other civil works, working knowledge of computers, and experience in the preparation of tenders for civil works. Alternatively, a 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU is also acceptable.
2. Junior Engineer (Electrical): Diploma holders should have a minimum of 2 years of experience, while Degree holders should have at least 1 year of experience in the execution and supervision of electrical installations in large buildings, commercial buildings with HT/LT substations, central AC plants, lifts, UPS, DG sets, CCTV, Fire alarm system, etc. Alternatively, a 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU is also acceptable.
