The Assam Police Radio Organisation (APRO) and Fire and Emergency Services, Assam have issued a notification for the recruitment of 330 Constable, Sub-Officer, and Emergency Rescuer posts. Scale of Pay:

• Constable of Police (Communication) in APRO: Rs. 14000- 60500 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 6200/- Grade pay plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
• Constable (Driver), Constable (Dispatch Rider), Constable (Handymen), Constable (Messenger), and Constable (Carpenter) in APRO: Rs. 14000- 60500 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 5200/- Grade pay plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
• Sub-Officer in F & ES: Rs. 14000- 60500 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 6200/- Grade pay plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
• Emergency Rescuer in F & ES: Rs. 14000- 60500 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Rs. 5000/- Grade pay plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Constable of Police (Communication) in APRO: H.S. (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council. The candidates must have obtained pass marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) in H.S. (Science) examination to apply for the post.
• Constable (Driver), Constable (Dispatch Rider), Constable (Handymen), Constable (Messenger), and Constable (Carpenter) in APRO: HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV. For Constable (Carpenter), the candidate must have passed prescribed ITI course in trade.
• Sub-Officer and Emergency Rescuer in F & ES: H.S. (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council. The candidates must have obtained pass marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) in H.S. (Science) examination to apply for the post.

Age Criteria:

• • For the posts of Sub-Officer: 20 to 24 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e., candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2003 and on or after 01.01.1999).
  • For other posts: Age criteria will be as per the norms of the government.
