The SAMARTH Admission Portal is designed to facilitate the online admission process for BA, BCom, BSc, and other programs according to the New Education Policy 2020 in Assam.

“Samarth” is an initiative by the Ministry of Education, which was initiated in 2019 under the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology NMEICT-II (now NMEICT-III). The objective of this initiative is to enable universities and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) through a digital framework for planning, management, delivery, and monitoring of services for students, staff, and other stakeholders. As part of this project, HEIs are provided with a fully managed, cloud-based, comprehensive Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system customized for HEIs in the country.

How to Apply for Assam College Admission?

Starting from this academic session, the Government of Assam has abolished the old admission process for UG admission. All students who have passed the Higher Secondary final examination now have to apply online through the Samarth Portal for Bachelor Degree courses.

Once the online application process is complete, students can take admission in their college of choice based on the merit list. The Samarth Online Admission Process is elaborated below:
