Dibrugarh University has issued an official notification for the Post Graduate Entrance Test (DUPGET) 2023. This test is conducted for admission into various Post Graduate Programmes offered by Dibrugarh University and its affiliated and autonomous colleges. It is mandatory for candidates who wish to study PG courses under Dibrugarh University to appear in this entrance test.
The PG courses available include Master’s in Arts (MA), Master’s in Science (MSc), Master’s in Commerce (MCom), and M.Ed. Candidates who have passed, appeared, or are appearing in the 6th semester BA, BSc, BCom examinations can now submit their applications online for this entrance examination.

Eligibility Criteria for DUPGET:
The eligibility criteria for admission to various master degree courses under Dibrugarh University are as follows:
Master of Arts (MA) Course:
– Bachelor’s Degree with Major/Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point.
OR
– Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of candidates from the General Programme or equivalent grade point.
Master of Science (MSc) Course:
– Bachelor’s Degree with Major/Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point.
OR
– Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of candidates from the General Programme or equivalent grade point.
Master of Commerce (MCom) Course:
– Bachelor’s Degree with Major/Speciality/Honours in the relevant subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point.
OR
– Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and 45% marks in aggregate in case of candidates from the General Programme or equivalent grade point.
Note:
– Candidates who have appeared or are appearing in the 6th Semester B.A., B.Sc., B.Com Examinations 2023 and are waiting for their results are eligible to appear in DUPGET 2023 and can get provisional admission if selected.
– Candidates who have appeared or are appearing in the Final Semester Examinations and waiting for results but have a backlog in the 2nd and/or 4th Semester Examinations are also eligible to appear in DUPGET 2023 and can get provisional admission if selected.
