The training is open to graduate students who wish to engage as apprentices under the provisions of the “Apprenticeship Act 1961.” The training duration is one year, and it is available to individuals who completed their studies in 2020, 2021, or 2022. About Tool Room & Training Centre Guwahati:
The Tool Room & Training Centre (TRTC), Guwahati, was established by the Government of India to cater to the tooling and training needs of industries in the North Eastern Region. The State Government of Assam provided the land and initial building for the Tool Room.
TRTC is registered as a Government of India Society since February 24, 2000. It is located at Amingaon Industrial Area, North Guwahati Road, Guwahati-781031. The campus includes an Administrative Block, Training Block, Modern Workshop, Knowledge Centre, Staff Quarters, and Hostel facilities.
Eligibility Criteria for TRTC Guwahati Apprenticeship Training:
Educational Qualification: Graduates (BA/BSc./B.Com) with a minimum of six months Certificate Course in Computer.
Age Limit: Not mentioned.
Pay/Stipend: Rs. 12,000/-
